The main-stream, commercial computer industry is quickly moving towards the concept of “Trusted Computing“.
However, is “Trusted Computing” a good thing for us as personal computer users?

I can understand the concept of Trusted Computing in an enterprise environment (with the enterprise as the decision maker for its users). However, for a personal computer, shouldn’t I be the decision maker as to what to trust?
