IE7 to be distributed via Microsoft Automatic Updates

The IEBlog is saying Internet Explorer 7 will be distributed via Microsoft Automatic Updates (AU) as a high-priority update. They are saying the installer will be automatically downloaded for those that have AU turned on, but will then give each user a choice of “Install”, “Don’t Install”, or “Ask Me Later”. They promise a painless migration from IE6 to IE7.
One of the things I find interesting is that you will be able to uninstall IE7 and rollback to IE6. I don’t see many people doing this, but Microsoft providing the ability seems like a small shift in company philosophy.
