I made an interesting discovery on a clean install of Windows XP and Firefox 2.0. After every boot of Windows, and a running of Firefox I discovered that firefox was left running in the task manager. When I tried to restart Windows, I would have to manually kill some XCOM event reciever(several attempts) which I tracked down to Firefox.

I uninstalled 2.0 and installed 1.5 without having the same problem duplicated.

I am not seeing the problem on my other machines where I installed 2.0 over the top of 1.5.
