Thunderbird may no longer be a Mozilla product

Interesting. It’s been awhile since I’ve evaluated mail clients - anything good out there besides Thunderbird and Outlook?

Man, I don’t want to loose Thunderbird or my archived email when I move elsewhere.

Don’t tell anyone, but I’m trying Outlook 2007 since I had a free license. I migrated all my mail, and archived off Thunderbird’s files. Even worse, I’m kind of liking it. All my Java/Open Source friends will shun me, so keep it quiet.

Oh wait, you’re one of them. Drat!

Fairly easy, but it took a few steps, including importing into Outlook Express first:

I did ‘lose’ a couple messages during the process. Lost in the sense that the headers became part of the message, so the subject isn’t visible until you open it. Otherwise things came through well.
