Wooo! Today I went to the Douglas County Health Dept. and got 4 shots! 3 in the left and 1 in the right. And I got some meds also. It cost a pretty penny, but it was a lot of fun! I had to get Polio, Tetnus, Hepatitis A, and the mother of all shots, Yellow Fever. The others went in pretty smoothly, but oy, that Yellow Fever vaccine is a pain in the butt…or arm…

Anyway, it was really exciting, and Kate and I got to have our appt together, with our moms sitting in also. We had a good time, and learned about all the horrible things that could happen to us. And somehow it just made me want to go even more.
