Westfalen Park
Yesterday I went to Westfalen Park with Tabea, downtown Dortmund. It was a beautiful day, and here are some quite lovely pictures for you lovely people.
In the new Boutique, “Feminine Mode,” owned by a lovely lady from their church. She gave me a free ring! And I bought some earrings.
Some of the coolest shoes I’ve ever seen. I might have to purchase these.
Me & Tabea, at Westfalen Park, enjoying the beautiful Spring weather!
A nice older German couple, conversing on a bench, watching the birds fly slowly over the blooming tulips…it’s a nice image, isn’t it? Yes…until Tabea suggested that perhaps they were father/daughter, and that just ruined the whole thing.
We took turns chilling in the hammocks.
Strolling…
A view of Dortmund. Where I live is out toward the upper left hand corner of the screen (not in the sky, people).
Another view of Dortmund. Here you can see the Stadium, where I got to see the USA vs. Deutschland game last month, and where World Cup Games will be held. The Uni of Dortmund is to the right (notice there is no American University-ish architecture in German U’s).
Okay! That’s all for now…
