Here are just a few pictures from Tuesday, May 2. This was Jana’s birthday celebration and a little bit of a “see you later” party for moi.

Okay, well first, this is a picture of Carmen and me from English Conversation at the University of Dortmund. Carmen and I got along great, she is such a wonderful gal.

Jana, trying to keep Hanna away from her new birthday present, a “secret box” which was supposed to be difficult to open, it had a lot of little steps you had to take to get the key out of a section of the wood, etc. Well, yeah, it was a little TOO difficult, David and I couldn’t even get the key to turn. So, Daniel had to grease it up a bit.

I made it back to Blair, Nebraska this afternoon! I didn’t sleep at all last night in Dortmund, and made it through London, Chicago, and finally Omaha!
