My very first best friend in Nebraska (4th grade) died yesterday from Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. Her name was Tracy Ortmeier and she was a very brave gal, to say the least. She was married on December 30, 2006, and what a man her husband must be. I don’t really have much to say that is worthy of saying, but would just like to honor her life. Here is a website that she and her family kept updated.

I’m Brian, Tracy’s husband. Was just doing some searching and came across your site and your comments. You’re quite correct, her courage was inspiring and amazing. Thank you for your notation about her. She had so many good friends and family going back all of her years. I wish you well with your marriage as well.
