I’m using Google’s Picasa2, and I made myself a little background I’m liking. You can check it out here and hey, use it if you want. Anyway, it’s from my own pictures and all of them have special significance to me. You have some different options with the program, it’s nice. Soooo….thanks to Mr. James Gottry (no, he’s not British) for the suggestion!

Now, keep on reading and posting comments on grace & Jesus & redemption & denominations.

Check out the pictures from my trip to Arizona for Lea (O’Dell) Gottry’s wedding, and to visit my amazing friends in LA!

 Do it! They’re awesome!

September22

I’ve updated my photos page with pictures from China and Paris, and I’ve also updated my “about” page. ALSO, I have gone back in time and redone the posts that existed before my website changed, and have put the photos back into those posts. If you want photos that you see, please email me or comment here and let me know and I can send them to you.

So, feel free to journey back in time, I know…it’s just so interesting.

Ahem…

But, on that note, please continue to comment on the post below about salvation and anything else you would like to comment on. Thanks!

Get ready to have a good day.

I just wanted to put up some incredibly scary pictures I just received from Brian Wills, a good friend from Sprachcamp. (you can click on them to enlarge if you dare)

If you don’t know the story, allll right, I’ll tell it again. Okay. So, my good friend Ronny and I were supposed to host the Karaoke contest, and we couldn’t decide what to wear, and what sort of “act” we wanted to put on. We debated this and that, and finally, while we were at the beach watching everyone get soaking wet during the water games, I randomly decided to go find Meredith’s fat suit that she had packed and brought all the way from LA!!! Then I found Regina (an actress from LA), and she proceeded to make me look even more freakish by putting as much makeup as is humanly possible on my face. Ronny decided to try to look as cool as possible, to contrast my freakishness even more.

I had to sneak into the building through a window in the back, which led to a horrendous incident involving me having to heave me and my new fatness over a windowsill that was way too high in the first place. I made Ronny and a frightened young German guy get OUT OF THE ROOM before I would attempt said feat. After they heard a crash and a few thumps, they knew I had safely managed to delicately get myself into the room. Here are some pictures of me & Ronny, and then the Karaoke judges before the big event!!

The lovely Karaoke hosts

Ronny introduced me as his “delicate little flower” cohost….and then I came barging out of the door and almost knocked him over…

Karaoke Judges

Two German camp gals are on the left, and Dustin from Texas is on the right side. I think I made everyone a little nervous.

Scaring yourself can be fun

August22

Tonight I went for a walk. And not just any walk. I decided to wait until it was completely dark, and to go out for a long walk on the hilly and foresty country roads by our house, without a flashlight. Why, you ask? I. Don’t. Know.

Anyway, I was walking along and then I passed into this area that is completely covered by trees, so basically I can’t see anything. I’m walking along, trying to see where I’m going, enjoying the beauty of the evening, and the forest surrounding me, and I had some music on really quietly….Suddenly, I heard this loud cracking crashing sound. I mean, loud. So, as you can imagine, I froze, turned off the music, and waited to be attacked or something.

Then I realized that for some bizarre reason, a tree in the forest next to me had decided to crack and fall as I was walking past, and I could hear it tumble through the other trees. So, I honestly was a little scared, because I couldn’t see anything, I was by myself, and for some reason, a tree had just crashed next to me in a forest I couldn’t see.

 It was great.

There was also a beautiful fog sitting in a low field near our house, and that put a whole different type of “fear” in me, if you know what I mean.

Well, I just put up some more pictures, and I hope it worked out okay, they are pictures from Sprachcamp, and from my short time in Dortmund. Check them out (click the photos tab at the top of the page).
